Make friends with the Future, while living Now.
Your debt is climbing. You swear you’ve paid thousands on that credit card balance, but somehow the balance goes up instead of down. Your finances are careening. You cover your eyes and look the other way... Thinking of money makes you sick and fills you with dread. You want a creative career that aligns with your life holistically, but everyone around you says: give up, get a real job. The future? Hypothetical. You need to survive now. But the years are flying by…Here are some questions to ask yourself. When did money become your enemy instead of ally? Money, which is a representation of energy? When did you become disconnected from the surrounding flow?Maybe it’s time for a new central image. One that’s holistic and connected. Financial wellbeing
comes from navigating our surrounding economic ecosystem with intention. This economic system is a living web where energy and resources circulate and are exchanged. In nature, nothing thrives alone. Navigating intentionally means creating maps while remaining flexible, reading patterns, staying attuned, moving where momentum exists, and adjusting course where needed though an interconnected world.
My name is Dawn. I worked as a CPA for the first decade of my career. I spent the next decade as a creative writer volunteering for grassroots creative organizations. This, combined with my contemplative explorations and search to discover a meaningful relationship with money, has given me a rare combination of financial technical knowledge and pragmatic creative-life experience. I know what it’s like. These experiences make me uniquely positioned to help creatives navigate the edge.
My approach to financial wellbeing is holistic. This includes the intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and practical sides of money. Let’s create a harmonious relationship with money together, aligning financial and creative/wellbeing goals to make money an ally in the pursuit of your explorations.

Financial Wellbeing
I see finances as an energy system, requiring balance and harmony like any other living energy system. This includes use, storage, and movement of information and energy, as well as adaptation and exchange of these things with the environment. By putting the proper practices and channels into place, energy (that’s money!) entering a system can automatically flow to the right places.
